De Kroon Prefab is a producer of prefab roofs, HSB walls, HSB floors, prefab dormers, prefab eaves and prefab bay windows. Prefab refers to the process of prefabricating building components. De Kroon Prefab is part of construction company Poppink. The company has its own equipment, offers tailor-made products and has its own means of transport. As everything is handled in-house, the company does not rely on external parties. With so many elements and so much equipment, De Kroon Prefab wanted to optimise the efficiency of its production process.
The request
De Kroon Prefab wanted a transport line for its large prefab elements, which can be up to ten metres in length. De Kroon Prefab uses large and heavy elements to construct its ready-to-use building components that are delivered to construction sites. Having the company's own staff transport these large elements took a lot of physical effort and precious time. There was an easier way! BOLD HB developed a tailor-made transport line for De Kroon Prefab.
