Pré Pain is an experienced and professional bakery that produces bake-off bread products for various clients. These clients finish the baking process and then sell the bread to their own consumers. The request
Pré Pain asked us to turn large chunks of dough into smaller portions that are ready for processing and then transport these portions to the right processing machine. Looking at its production process, the company realised that processing and transporting large chunks of dough took a huge amount of time and required many physical actions. There was a better way to go about this. Using conveyor belts, we fully automated the process of breaking down large chunks of dough into smaller portions and transporting these to the right processing machine. This tailor-made automation system was the ideal solution to their problem.
